Installing Liquorice Allsorts is, as almost every theme, really easy.
First Step: Download Liquorice Allsorts and unzip it
Second Step: Upload the folder “liquorice” into the “themes” folder of your WordPress directory. The path of the location is: “/wordpress/wp-content/themes”
Third Step: Login into your WordPress Installation and select “Presentation” in the main menu.
“Liquorice Allsorts” will feature under “Avalaible Themes”.
Simply click on it and it will be selected.
You’re done.

Great! Your theme is really bold and it’s hot. Like it a lot. The commenting in the css helps. For future releases, is there a chance to elaborate on the floats and their connections? In their combination they are a bit tricky if one starts playing around. Good work.

We definitely will release an update of that theme at some point. And we will try to address of course any issues you might come across using the first release. So please keep commenting mentioning suggestions or improvements. We will take note of all your suggestions and might try to even have some info how one can address certain issues whether these are floats or anything else. Let us know. I’ve just got one problem with the search in the sidebar - instead of the minimalistic searchsubmit-arrow my site shows a regular grey “search”-button which looks quite out of place. The arrow.gif is there, code is unaltered - any idea how could this be fixed?

Hi Costinho.
Pretty sure that comes from making use of the “widget” functionality. The theme is widget enabled but we did not stretch the design to the widgets, or as in your case “Search” placed via the widget menu (as it would have stopped being a theme since it would affect files outside the scope of a theme). So we chose to have a clear cut-off line so we don’t interfere with particular widgets’ demands. The fix for you would be to alter “/wp-includes/widgets.php” and to change the markup output between the lines 409 and 414 (WP v2.2.1) as stated in “/wp-content/themes/liquorice/sidebar.php”.
